Accessibility: The Hotel has no lift. Tell us if you prefer a room on one of the lower floors when making your reservation.
Arrival: You can check in from 3 pm. If you will be arriving after 8 pm, please let us know.
Bookings: Room bookings are valid only if they are confirmed by the Hotel in writing, by email or letter.
Breakfast: Breakfast is served 7 am to 9 am, Mondays to Fridays, 8 am to 10 am Saturdays and Sundays.
Check-in: 3 pm to 8 pm, Saturday 3 pm to 7 pm, outside these hours and on Sundays by means of our electronic key box. Individual adaptations are possible by prior arrangement.
Check-out: until 10 am, on the weekend until 11 am. Please let us know if you wish to have a late check-out.
Cancellation: One room: If cancelled or modified two ore more days before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later, 70 percent of the booking amount (except tourist tax) will be charged. In case of no-show, 100 percent of the booking amount will be charged.
Reservations of 4 rooms and above: The following compensations apply:
- cancellation made 30 to 15 days prior to arrival: 30% of the forgone turnover
- cancellation made 14 to 5 days prior to arrival: 50% of the forgone turnover
- cancellation made 4 to 0 days prior to arrival: 70% of the forgone turnover
Condition: The current daily price will apply. We reserve the right to change our prices and offers.
Pets: Pets are allowed only at the annex "Grünes Haus".
Reception opening times: Monday to Friday 7 am to 11.30 am and 2 pm to 8 pm, Saturday 8 am to 7 pm, Sunday 8 am to 12 pm (noon).
Smoking: Please note that Hotel Roter Ochsen is a non-smoking Hotel and that smoking – including smoking at an open window – is not permitted. Failure to comply with this ruling will result in a charge of CHF 200. However, guests are invited to smoke in the courtyard.
Wi-Fi: Free Internet access throughout the Hotel.
