Products
Waste
Our breakfast doesn’t produce any extra waste from small packaging (for butter, cheese, jams ).
We avoid personal care products in mini packagings, as they tend to end up in the bin being still half full.
Energy
Our hotel obtains district heating from the garbage disposer “KVA” in Zuchwil.
Towels are replaced only on the guests’ request.
Social commitment
We pay our employees a salary that is at least 15% higher than the collective labour agreement for the hospitality sector.

We obtain all our meat from the organic butcher’s “Bio-Metzg” in Kirchberg/BE, which guarantees rearing methods and slaughtering protective of animals.
The local farm “Buechihof” in Leuzigen near Solothurn provides us with eggs and fruits. Our cheese comes from farmer Hansueli Schluep from Nennigkofen/SO.
